Website analytics

Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled on the production site to provide aggregate page-view, visit, referrer, country, device and performance information without tracking individual visitors or setting an analytics cookie. It may be activated through the hosting account or an owner-approved production token. UDS uses this aggregate information to understand whether service and guidance pages are useful; enquiry contents are not sent to the analytics service. Cloudflare may also process limited technical request data as the hosting and security provider.

Enquiries

The enquiry form collects the information entered by the visitor and non-sensitive context such as the landing page, referrer and UTM campaign values. When secure delivery is enabled, Cloudflare processes the request as the website host, Cloudflare Turnstile assesses limited technical signals to prevent automated abuse, and the configured email delivery provider forwards the brief to the UDS mailbox. Turnstile is used for security, not marketing analytics. The website does not use the enquiry content for automated decision-making. If no form-processing endpoint is configured, the site opens the visitor’s email application and does not silently submit or store the form on the website.

Business prospecting and referrals

UDS may use limited, relevant information published by a business to identify and contact corporate organisations or referral partners that appear to have a genuine need for a specific UDS service. The first-contact programme is deliberately small and researched: UDS does not buy bulk lists, scrape personal addresses or use special-category information for prospecting. Where personal business-contact information is used, UDS records the public source, the reason the approach is relevant and the applicable lawful basis.

Every direct approach identifies UDS, explains why the organisation was contacted and provides a simple way to object to further marketing. Objections are acted on promptly and a minimal suppression record may be kept to prevent another approach. Prospect research that does not lead to an active conversation is removed after the campaign review when it is no longer needed.

Technical tools

The workstation planner and astronomy calculator operate locally in the browser. Their inputs are not sent to UDS unless the user deliberately includes the resulting summary in an enquiry.

Project and remote-access information

Project information is used to assess, quote and deliver the requested work. Remote access requires explicit client consent, an agreed access window and appropriate credential handling. Where UDS processes personal information on behalf of a business client, the necessary contractual and security responsibilities are defined before access.

Retention and sharing

Information is kept only for legitimate enquiry, contractual, operational, accounting or legal purposes. It is not sold. It may be shared with service providers or qualified delivery partners only where necessary and subject to appropriate safeguards.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, individuals may request access, correction, restriction, deletion or other action concerning their personal information. Contact UDS with enough detail to identify the relevant interaction.
